As a Network Administrator at Mitutoyo Research & Development America, Inc. (MRDA) you will have an opportunity to touch all aspects of IT. Everything from complex tasks and implementing new solutions, to providing support for team members in Washington and California and remote users globally.
You will be maintaining and deploying IT systems such as SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD, Office 365, MECM and many other platforms and applications. Linux experience will be beneficial. You will also be working in a physical and virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware, Hyper-V, and SAN based storage solutions, as well as client desktops, laptops, and phones.
You’ll have the opportunity to assist the IT Supervisor in shaping the future of the IT Group at MRDA. You will help in strategic planning and the adoption of new technologies and applications.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Providing excellent internal customer service with the primary goal of enabling others to do their jobs better will be your mantra. A willingness to troubleshoot IT tickets submitted by all levels of end users and task complexity is critical to this position. You will truly get to touch all aspects of IT and an eagerness to do that is vital.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to quickly shift gears and efficiently transition between multiple priorities and projects. You will be working at a fast pace, so effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment will be crucial.
Your quick intuition, keen troubleshooting skills, and superior attention to detail will guide you to success in this position.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly wage range is $45-$50 per hour. The successful candidate’s wage will be determined based on job-related experience/ knowledge/ skills, education, and complexity and responsibility of the role. Benefits include 100% paid medical, dental, vision insurance (75% for dependents), 100% paid life and disability insurance, 6% matching 401k, 15 vacation days, 12 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days per year, and eligibility for performance based annual bonus.
