PCB Layout DESIGNER / Senior PCB Layout Designer

You will be part of a dynamic team to research and develop next generation dimensional metrology solutions to reach sub-micron levels of precision and beyond. You will work in a team focused on improvements to current products or developing new products from the ground up. Your efforts will directly contribute to solutions that allow Mitutoyo’s customers to maintain high quality for the products that they manufacture.

In your role, up to 75% of your time will be on layout of printed circuit boards (PCB) for concept prototypes, engineering prototypes, or test systems. Your designs will include cutting edge sensors and our own in-house designed custom integrated circuits, FPGAs and microprocessors. The remaining 25% of your time will be on troubleshooting and testing, and other related tasks depending on the project needs. In addition, you will also collaborate and interact with many smart people both here and abroad and learn new skills.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in PCB layout. You are passionate about technology and are willing to collaborate to solve tough problems. You should have a willingness to take initiative and go deep with technical detail. Communicating simply and clearly is vitally important. Knowledge of rigid-flex design and signal integrity will give you an edge.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly wage range is $34.75-$44.79 per hour for PCB Layout Designer, $40.87-$54.00 per hour for Senior PCB Layout Designer. The successful candidate’s hourly wage will be determined based on job-related experience/knowledge/skills, education, and complexity and responsibility of the role. Benefits include 100% paid medical, dental, vision insurance (75% for dependents), 100% paid life and disability insurance, 6% matching 401k, 15 vacation days, 12 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days per year, and eligibility for performance based annual bonus.
